Central Florida has a food scene that most people completely sleep on. Yeah, the tourist corridor exists — and sure, there are great spots there — but the real action is scattered across strip malls, tucked into neighborhoods, and hidden down roads you'd never turn down unless someone you trusted told you to.
I've been eating my way through this region my whole life. And every time I find something great, my first instinct is to call a friend and tell them about it. Frank's Finds is that phone call, scaled up.

Honest takes. No PR meals, no paid placements — just me showing up, paying my own bill, and telling you what I actually thought. If something's mediocre, I'll say so. If something absolutely blew me away, you'll know that too.
I cover restaurants, cafés, bars, markets, and what I call "hidden gems" — the spots that don't fit neatly into a category but absolutely deserve your attention. When I travel, I bring the same lens with me.
The Rating System
Simple. 1–5 stars, no half-measures in description:
- 5 stars — I'm going back. Possibly this week.
- 4 stars — Genuinely great. Tell your friends.
- 3 stars — Solid. Worth your time if you're in the area.
- 2 stars — Had some issues. Maybe catch them on a better day.
- 1 star — I'll be honest when I have to be.
